Role & Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily store management and operations, including sales, customer service, operations, administration, communication, marketing and merchandising.
• Assume the Store Manager’s responsibilities in their absence.
• Meet personal and store sales goals; track, monitor and communicate business results.
• Ensure associates deliver elevated sales and service, leading by example; develop personal sales techniques and help associates improve theirs to maximize sales.
• Maintain sales-related policies and procedures, build in-depth merchandise knowledge, develop product knowledge among selling staff, and stay informed about fashion and market trends.
• Ensure associates provide the highest level of customer service; build and maintain repeat clientele using a personal client book and supporting staff in using their client books.
• Resolve client problems and complaints promptly and effectively, and assist Sales Associates with customer-service matters such as dissatisfied customers, returns and defective merchandise.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on risk management, physical security, cash controls and inventory management.
• Support staff training in register usage and maintenance; understand and execute management register functions.
• Participate in inventories and execute cash-control procedures, including bank deposits, safe funds and petty cash.
• For offsite drivers only, transport product to and from the offsite location as needed.
• Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives; keep the selling floor neat, clean, organized and aligned with the correct visual image.
• Ensure deliveries are processed promptly, identify and communicate product concerns, and communicate inventory needs in support of business goals.
• Assist with staff recruitment, training and development; help ensure payroll integrity and proper payroll processes.
• Evaluate associate performance and provide ongoing feedback; resolve human resources issues promptly and effectively, partnering with HR when necessary.
• Support and follow up on training programs and seminars.
• Ensure professional image and grooming standards that reflect the brand are consistently followed.

• At least 3 years of retail experience, including 1–2 years of specialty management experience.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 27 per hour.
