Role & Responsibilities
- Meet personal and store sales goals and assist in tracking and communicating business results
- Ensure elevated sales and service standards are practiced by all associates; lead by example
- Develop and mentor associates' sales techniques to maximize revenue performance
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of merchandise and cultivate product expertise among selling staff
- Build and sustain repeat clientele through personal client book management and staff support
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, returns, and defective merchandise concerns efficiently
- Collaborate with store manager on risk management, security protocols, cash controls, and inventory management
- Train staff on point-of-sale systems and execute management register functions
- Participate in inventory audits and execute cash control procedures including deposits and petty cash reconciliation
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising and merchandising directives
- Ensure selling floor presentation is organized, clean, and reflects brand image standards
- Process product deliveries and communicate inventory needs to support business objectives
- Recruit, train, and develop retail staff members
- Evaluate associate performance and provide continuous feedback
- Ensure image and grooming standards uphold brand integrity and professional appearance
- Support payroll process integrity and resolution of human resources matters in partnership with HR
Qualifications
- Minimum three years retail experience
- One to two years specialty management experience
- Demonstrated sales leadership and team supervision capability
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and register management
- Strong merchandise and product knowledge
- Customer service and client relationship management skills

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional retail management training or certifications preferred.
