Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update departmental WSSI to drive sales through optimal inventory flow.
- Actualise and manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) to maximise sales, identify risk and recommend corrective actions.
- Recap business at door and product level and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly best-seller and hindsight analysis for decision support.
- Establish and sustain close working relationships with buying/planning teams and stores; conduct regular store visits (at least monthly) to align assortment and stock flow with customer demand.
- Partner with buying and planning to define merchandise assortments by door and create distribution guidelines that respect store capacities.
- Prepare and complete pre-buy APS, Clusters and deviations data to support range and allocation decisions.
- Monitor grading effectiveness and replenishment methods to deliver optimum stock levels by classification, delivery group and style.
- Collaborate with Distribution to manage replenishment programs and ensure timely stock delivery to stores.
- Contribute commercially minded ideas to improve department performance and present recommendations to planners and buyers.
- Motivate and support the team through regular communication, constructive feedback and operational leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in retail planning, store planning, allocation or assistant merchandising within a fast-paced fashion retailer.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical capability and creative problem-solving aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Pro-active, resilient and able to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to understand and apply regional market differences to assortment and allocation decisions.
- Willingness to travel regularly for store visits.

Experience
Relevant experience in retail planning, allocation or assistant merchandising is required. Candidates should have worked in fast-paced fashion environments—preferably within handbags/accessories or ready-to-wear—and experience in large high-street retailers or multi-door rollouts is advantageous.
