Michael Kors Assistant Manager position in Calgary, Canada. Full-time retail management role leading sales, operations, and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales generation efforts and mentor associates to achieve personal and store sales targets
- Build and maintain repeat clientele through personal client book management and supporting staff development
- Oversee operations including inventory management, cash controls, register functions, and bank deposits
- Collaborate with store management on risk management, physical security, and loss prevention
- Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives to ensure consistent brand presentation on the selling floor
- Train and develop staff in sales techniques, customer service protocols, register operations, and brand standards
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues efficiently and professionally
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate inventory needs to support business objectives
- Monitor adherence to sales policies, procedures, and brand image standards across the sales team
- Support payroll processes and human resources functions in partnership with store management
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in retail or hospitality
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong product knowledge and ability to train others on merchandise
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management procedures
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative retail environment
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within retail, preferably in a branded luxury or designer environment, is required. Candidates should demonstrate a progressive track record of sales achievement and team leadership.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

The base compensation for this position is CAD 22 per hour.
