Michael Kors is hiring an Assistant Manager in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada to lead store operations and deliver elevated client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store sales and profitability by delivering an elevated, conversion-focused customer experience.
- Lead and execute daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling and operational controls with precision.
- Coach, mentor and develop sales associates on product knowledge, styling, selling techniques and clienteling.
- Build and maintain a client book through proactive outreach and personalized service to increase traffic and repeat business.
- Deploy omnichannel tools to convert digital demand in-store and ensure seamless client interactions across channels.
- Manage floor operations during peak periods, ensuring visual standards and stock availability are maintained.
- Demonstrate flexibility in shift coverage and support the store manager in ad hoc operational projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail management experience, preferably within premium or luxury apparel/accessories.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English.
- Proven ability to lead a team, develop talent and coach to achieve commercial targets.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, holidays and peak seasonal periods.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant retail management experience with demonstrated success in driving sales, developing teams and managing store operations in a fast-paced, fashion retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or fashion is an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22 to CAD 24 per hour.
