Michael Kors seeks an Amazon Brand Director in the NY Metro Area to lead Amazon strategy, P&L and cross‑functional teams (Michael Kors, NY Metro Area).

Role & Responsibilities
- Own and scale the Michael Kors Amazon business, driving topline revenue, profitability and brand expansion across Accessories, Footwear, Ready-to-Wear and Men’s.
- Translate product strategy, inventory flow and commercial priorities into full‑funnel activation plans together with Marketing to drive efficient demand.
- Optimize assortment, depth and inventory flow to maximize sell‑through, inventory turn and margin performance on Amazon.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that preserve brand integrity while delivering measurable commercial results.
- Improve Amazon growth levers including product content (PDP and A+), conversion optimization and customer engagement programs such as Vine.
- Produce business analysis to identify trends and opportunities across traffic, conversion and assortment and convert findings into actionable plans.
- Manage financial performance with P&L ownership, aligning sales, margin and inventory investments.
- Prepare and present seasonal product strategies, business plans and performance recaps to senior leadership.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Retail and Licensing to ensure coordinated execution.
- Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing team, fostering accountability, commercial acumen and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in buying, sales, or e‑commerce with demonstrated commercial impact.
- Proven Amazon experience (vendor/marketplace/retail partnerships) required.
- Prior people management experience with ability to build and scale a team.
- Strong financial acumen, retail math proficiency and demonstrated P&L ownership.
- Ability to work from the NYC office at least three days per week.

At least 8+ years of progressive experience in retail buying, sales or e‑commerce roles, with direct Amazon experience and prior team leadership. Demonstrated track record of driving revenue, margin and inventory productivity with P&L responsibility.
Education
Bachelor’s degree.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 200,000 to USD 215,000 per annum.
