Messika is recruiting a Visual Merchandising Assistant for an internship starting in January 2027 at its Paris headquarters. The role supports visual merchandising projects across the European retail network, including project rollout, store standards, materials logistics and operational coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and rollout of retail projects, including store openings, renovations, commercial activations and key Maison events.
- Distribute visual merchandising guidelines and presentation materials to field teams, and monitor their application in stores.
- Track orders, replenishments, production and delivery of visual merchandising materials.
- Help monitor visual merchandising standards in stores, collect field feedback and prepare photographic reports.
- Collaborate with Retail, Global Visual Merchandising and Architecture teams, as well as external partners.
- Update tracking tools and contribute to improving internal processes.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a business school, specialist school or equivalent programme, with an interest in developing visual merchandising skills.
- Ideally has experience in a creative, international and demanding environment.
- Demonstrates rigour, organisation, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Is curious, proactive and adaptable, and enjoys project management and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Pack Office.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite.
- Proficient in English.
- Has strong writing skills and communication abilities.
- Shows initiative and a strong aesthetic sense.
