Meco seeks a Quality Control Technician in Grenchen to inspect watch components, analyse results in QuickControl, prepare client sample inspections, create inspection sequences and machine programmes, and conduct water- and helium-tightness tests. The role calls for quality-control experience or basic mechanical training, technical drawing and inspection knowledge, and comfort in a French- or German-speaking bilingual environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect watch components for dimensional and aesthetic quality.
- Enter and analyse inspection results using QuickControl software.
- Prepare and conduct initial sample inspections for clients (EMPB).
- Create inspection sequences in QuickControl.
- Create inspection programmes for various measuring machines.
- Conduct water- and helium-tightness tests.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality control or basic training in mechanics.
- Good knowledge of technical drawings and conventional and optical inspection equipment, as well as measuring machines.
- Experience programming measuring machines is an advantage.
- Good visual acuity and dexterity when handling small components with tweezers.
- Knowledge of QuickControl software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a bilingual environment.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Good visual acuity.
