Meco is recruiting a Precision Mechanic Apprentice for a four-year CFC apprenticeship starting in August 2027 in Grenchen. The apprentice will learn to manufacture tools and components, operate and program production machinery, optimize processes, and maintain equipment; selected applicants are invited to an interview followed by a one-week job-shadowing placement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn to manufacture tools, components and devices.
- Operate conventional or computer-controlled machines to produce small-part series to a high level of precision.
- Program and optimize production processes.
- Maintain equipment and diagnose faults.
Qualifications
- Ambitious personality, genuine motivation for technical work and a continual desire to improve.
- Enjoys precision and is diligent at work.
- Has completed compulsory schooling.
- French with very good German skills.
- Must submit a complete application including a cover letter, CV, school grade report and the mandatory independent Multicheck test.
