Alexander McQueen seeks a Store Operations Associate in Woodbury Commons, NY to support efficient retail operations. $24–$26/hr, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Follow company policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure store compliance
- Conduct regular in-store checks and audits to verify store teams adhere to established policies and procedures
- Support the onboarding of new team members with comprehensive information on store operations policies and guidelines
- Liaise with external parties to ensure required permits and documentation are in order
- Support the Operations Manager and Store Manager in implementing and maintaining Fire Safety, Health & Safety procedures
- Coordinate the setup and execution of in-store events
- Ensure proper care and protection of products according to company guidelines
- Oversee day-to-day management of goods receipt and storage in compliance with company procedures, maximizing operational efficiency
- Ensure shop-to-shop and returns transfers comply with company guidelines and timelines
- Support the manager as point of contact for cleaning companies and contractors
- Act on store emergencies to ensure repairs and services are executed promptly
- Liaise with Loss Prevention and Security on store issues as necessary
- Serve as first point of contact for store operational issues, escalating to Store Operations Manager or Store Manager when needed
- Support the after-sales process and keep store team and clients updated
- Order and distribute staff uniforms in a timely manner
- Maintain back-of-house standards to enable optimal client experience
- Train Client Advisors on back-of-house organization and the importance of stock care
- Prepare for and plan inventory checks across all stores
- Support stores with inventory checks and reconciliations
- Assist stores in preparation for sales and the transfer of sale merchandise
- Manage in-store damaged stock
- Monitor and follow up on negative on-hand inventory and outstanding consignments
- Coordinate and monitor cycle counts in accordance with company guidelines and policies
- Provide training and guidance to store teams to minimize stock loss and damage
- Manage the flow of omnichannel orders to ensure required service levels
- Manage the correct flow of adjustments
- Ensure company guidelines are adopted in cases of theft, including communication and documentation
- Achieve Operation KPIs while maintaining a client-focused approach to support overall store performance
- Monitor in-transit inventory and liaise with relevant departments as needed
- Manage and organize packaging and stationery physically and in the IT system
- Evaluate shipping suppliers and couriers to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective service
- Demonstrate professionalism in all behaviors, communication and teamwork in line with the House Code of Behaviors
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide active support and assistance to colleagues
- Provide high-quality, relevant feedback to managers
- Work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders using a service-oriented, collaborative, available and versatile approach
