McQueen Stock Controller in Rome, Italy – luxury retail inventory management and warehouse operations role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliations across all product categories, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock records through meticulous monitoring of product movements including deliveries, transfers, and consignments
  • Process stock adjustments in a timely manner in accordance with company guidelines and systems
  • Organize and maintain the stock room to optimize efficiency, product identification, and retrieval time for store teams
  • Oversee the care and protection of merchandise according to company protocols and luxury standards
  • Manage in-store damaged stock and coordinate the resolution of inventory issues
  • Support inter-store transfers and returns to ensure compliance with timelines and company guidelines
  • Coordinate stock preparation for markdown periods and manage post-markdown transitions
  • Monitor consignments regularly and follow up on outstanding deliveries
  • Manage omnichannel order fulfillment where applicable, ensuring required service levels
  • Carry out regular in-store checks and audits to ensure store team compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinate suppliers and couriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics services
  • Ensure the store is adequately stocked with operating supplies, packaging, and stationery
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with Inventory Control, Retail Operations, and store network teams
  • Demonstrate the McQueen behaviours of Empowerment, Teamwork, Respect, and Kindness in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Italian language
  • Proficient in English
  • Demonstrated previous experience in stock management and retail operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Successful track record in delivering retail excellence and operational results
