Alexander McQueen seeks a Shoes Product Developer (Maternity Cover) in Parabiago, Italy. €36,207 annual salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect and document design specifications and indications from the Design team relating to collections development
- Work closely with suppliers to develop samples that meet expected aesthetic, quality, and budget standards
- Verify technical feasibility of collections, anticipate critical issues, and propose solutions in consultation with internal technicians
- Manage and coordinate orders for semi-finished components and finished products required for new collection development
- Collaborate with Raw Materials R&D Department to identify suitable materials and processes for collection development
- Support the Costing Team in valuing developed items for collection budget control and suggest alternative pricing solutions for cost efficiency
- Facilitate dissemination of technical information during product review meetings
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to resolve production issues as they arise
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar product development role with exposure to design teams and sneaker development
- Proven capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in both English and Italian
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Knowledge of specialized software such as Stealth or Kubix is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Dynamic problem-solving attitude and capacity to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
