Alexander McQueen seeks experienced Sample Pattern Maker in Novara, Italy for women's ready-to-wear development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and develop technical patterns for women's ready-to-wear garments, with particular emphasis on outerwear categories, utilizing Lectra Modaris CAD systems
- Participate in fitting sessions and provide technical support to optimize garment fit and product development outcomes
- Implement approved modifications from fitting sessions and maintain accurate technical documentation, including technical specifications and bill of materials
- Collaborate closely with the Product Development office and atelier to ensure adherence to development timelines and delivery schedules
- Develop production patterns as required
- Maintain and properly manage the pattern archive system
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with Lectra Modaris CAD system and supporting pattern-making tools
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction techniques, particularly outerwear methodologies
- Solid understanding of ready-to-wear (RTW) product construction and specifications
- Fluent command of Italian and good working knowledge of English

Experience
Prior experience in pattern making or garment development roles with demonstrated technical knowledge of ready-to-wear production and construction methodologies.
Education

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 27,970 per annum.
