Alexander McQueen Leathergoods Industrialization Specialist in Scandicci, Italy – manage product development, technical documentation and supplier coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in Technical Review meetings with Design and Merchandising teams to gather product modification requests and prepare updated technical documentation
- Assess technical feasibility of product modifications in collaboration with Pattern Making & Industrialization Manager and external suppliers
- Manage and archive master specifications for finished products and intermediate manufacturing processes, ensuring full traceability and proper updates
- Monitor industrialization progress with Production team and ensure models are released according to agreed timelines
- Drive corrective actions for delays or critical issues, maintaining alignment across Product Development, Quality, Production and supplier partners
- Manage requirements, ordering and allocation of accessories, materials and components for product masters and intermediate manufacturing
- Coordinate all activities related to production of cutting dies with designated suppliers
- Define, monitor and evaluate quality tests in collaboration with Quality and Product Development teams
- Support Quality team in analysis and approval of first production samples
- Manage and monitor budgets allocated to industrialization activities
- Prepare, update and maintain product technical specifications and documentation
- Produce periodic reports on supplier performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industrialization role or leather goods product development
- Demonstrated Alexander McQueen behaviours: Empowerment, Teamwork, Respect and Kindness
- Proven capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Knowledge of PLM systems or Stealth software is advantageous
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Dynamic problem-solving attitude with capacity to build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in leather goods product industrialization, product development activities, or a comparable role within luxury manufacturing environments.
