Alexander McQueen seeks a Global Outlets Merchandising Assistant in London (fixed-term) to support outlet stock, trading and planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and implement the global outlet stock and sales strategy to maximise outlet potential and margin.
- Proactively contribute to achieving financial targets through trading analysis and commercial recommendations.
- Collaborate with regional outlet teams and stores to understand local product, operational and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely and effective stock replenishment across the outlet network.
- Identify assortment, pricing and promotion opportunities to optimise distribution and performance by market.
- Maintain weekly and monthly stock and sales reports and prepare ad hoc analytical documentation for the outlet network.
- Conduct store visits and regular performance reviews with outlets to monitor trade opportunities and risks.
- Participate in WSSI planning including store and category monthly forecasting and set category allocation targets.
- Monitor long-term stock positions and recommend proactive actions such as rebalancing, pricing or promotions.
- Build and maintain the promotions and events calendar for the outlet network and support outlet assortment planning.
- Support excess stock clearance and destocking processes, including coordination with third parties when required.
