Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end global paid media strategy across offline and digital channels (OOH, Print, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, PPC, Affiliates and Retargeting) to drive brand desirability and measurable commercial outcomes for e‑commerce and retail.
- Lead day-to-day media operations and campaign optimisation, setting KPIs (brand impact, traffic, engagement, conversion, ROI, acquisition) and ensuring rigorous performance governance.
- Plan and dynamically allocate global media budgets with forecasting, pacing and reconciliation in partnership with media agencies and Finance; reallocate investment based on performance and strategic priorities.
- Direct paid social strategy and execution globally, including audience segmentation, funnel architecture, creative alignment and cross-functional coordination with Image, Editorial, Social, Product and Merchandising teams.
- Own performance marketing ecosystem (PPC, affiliates, retargeting), collaborate closely with e‑commerce and CRM to hit revenue and ROI targets, and scale high‑value commercial partnerships.
- Establish measurement and analytics frameworks (attribution, incrementality testing, brand lift) leveraging GA4, Tableau, Power BI and platform data; translate insights into executive reporting and strategic recommendations.
- Manage relationships with global media agencies, platform partners (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, LinkedIn), offline media owners and commercial partners (Global Blue, Amex), ensuring global consistency with sensible local market adaptations.
- Ensure China ecosystem alignment across local platforms (Weibo, WeChat, RED, Tmall, Douyin, QQ, Meitu) while preserving global brand nuance.
- Oversee operational workflows from production to deployment across channels and manage product feed accuracy and tech stack integrations for tracking, consent and feed management.
- Line-manage and mentor the Digital Marketing & Media Coordinator and collaborate closely with Global Social Media Manager to maximise paid/organic synergies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in brand-side or agency media/performance roles, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Proven track record of owning global paid media strategies and managing multi-market complexity and external agency partners.
- Demonstrable expertise across paid social, programmatic, display, PPC and affiliate channels and in full-funnel, omnichannel consumer journeys.
- Strong analytical capability with experience implementing measurement frameworks (attribution, incrementality, brand lift) and producing executive-level reporting.
- Experience managing multi-million media budgets, forecasting, pacing and financial governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with comfort operating at senior leadership level across functions and regions.
- Degree in a related discipline.
