Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Fabric Development team across all categories.
  • Log deliveries of fabrics for atelier, fitting, and collection.
  • Coordinate delivery of fabrics to atelier.
  • Dye fabrics where color is not available for fitting samples.
  • Manage stock taking of carry-over atelier fabrics to maintain fluid stock levels.
  • Source fabrics for VIP briefs and prepare fabric presentation packs for shipment.
  • Order and track delivery of fabrics for special projects.
  • Log and coordinate fabrics between design and atelier.
  • Duplicate color cards for distribution to Florence, Novara, and London teams.
  • Archive and log fabric collections.
  • Prepare and update rails and boards for fittings and meetings.
  • Prepare weekly fabric development recap for review with Head of Fabric.
  • Raise purchase orders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar internship or role within the fashion industry, preferably in a luxury brand environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and precision in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
  • Educational background in Textiles or a related field is desirable.
