Mayors seeks a Sales Professional for a permanent, full-time role in Sarasota, Florida. The position focuses on building client relationships, delivering knowledgeable and hospitable service, and supporting showroom sales and operations; schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends, is required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Make clients’ needs the primary focus by listening, anticipating their needs, and taking personal responsibility for their requests.
- Present products confidently, using storytelling and technical detail while creating a hospitable atmosphere.
- Build, maintain, and develop a clientele through the company CRM platform, focusing on relationship-building.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the brands, collections, and pieces carried in the showroom, as well as general industry knowledge.
- Maintain a professional attitude and conduct business with integrity.
- Comply with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Assist team members and build effective working relationships.
- Transfer clients to another team member when needed to best serve their needs.
- Organize merchandise and displays to optimize sales and minimize shrinkage.
- Support the client experience in accordance with showroom hospitality guidelines.
- Independently use the company systems, hardware, and software required to perform duties and responsibilities.
- Complete administrative responsibilities and tasks that support the client experience.
- Receive and deliver client repairs when required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- Remain knowledgeable about company merchandise and keep current as new products are introduced.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- One year of retail sales experience.
- Excellent storytelling ability.
- Passion for timepieces and/or jewelry.
- Excellent client service and selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Flexibility and availability to accommodate showroom hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for long periods; may be required to lift packages or boxes.
