Max Mara Taormina seeks a bilingual Sales Assistant (Chinese speaker) for a 6–12 month contract role in luxury fashion retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and styling guidance to clients in Italian and Chinese
- Execute sales transactions and maintain point-of-sale proficiency
- Develop product knowledge and maintain awareness of seasonal collections
- Collaborate on retail project management and store operations
- Support inventory management and visual merchandising initiatives
- Build client relationships through empathetic and engaging interactions with guests of diverse nationalities
Qualifications
- Fluent Chinese language proficiency (mandatory)
- Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience (mandatory)
- Demonstrated passion for fashion styling and attention to detail
- Strong customer orientation and ability to build rapport across cultures
- Proactive mindset with energy and enthusiasm for luxury fashion
- Digital orientation and comfort with emerging retail technologies
Skills
Experience
3 years of prior sales experience in the apparel sector is mandatory.
