Marella seeks a Visual Merchandiser in Rome, Italy to oversee retail displays and train store staff on brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create window and floor displays in line with company guidelines and individual store needs
- Supervise and monitor assigned retail locations to ensure brand image compliance through on-site and remote engagement
- Train store personnel on visual merchandising design principles and execution methodologies
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in implementing retail strategy through operational execution of display rotations and remerchandising activities
- Develop training initiatives at retail locations to ensure staff comprehension of visual merchandising techniques and principles
- Ensure strict adherence to activity implementation timelines established with the Visual Merchandising Manager
- Continuously monitor sales performance to assess the effectiveness of visual merchandising activities and refine strategy accordingly
- Provide structured feedback to the Visual Merchandising Manager regarding the needs and opportunities across the retail network
- Foster continuous learning and development through proactive, team-based, and digital initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence
- Adopt and promote digital technologies in functional processes and stakeholder communications
- Demonstrate commitment to sustainable development practices across environmental, operational, and community-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Mid-Senior level experience in visual merchandising or retail environment management
- Proven ability to implement retail strategy through operational execution of merchandising activities
- Demonstrated expertise in creating window and floor displays aligned with brand standards and commercial objectives
- Strong training and communication skills to convey visual merchandising principles effectively to store teams
- Experience with sales monitoring and performance analysis to inform merchandising strategy
- Structured reporting and feedback skills to support management decision-making
