Max Mara Fashion Group seeks a Regional Property Management Specialist in Reggio Emilia to support retail network development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct market scouting to identify strategic retail locations on major high streets in European city centers, in line with the Group’s strategic guidelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage ongoing relationships with real estate brokers, landlords, and external partners.
  • Prepare feasibility business plans and store profit-and-loss projections with Retail Management and Controlling, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with rent-to-sales ratios.
  • Present new store opening proposals to corporate governance bodies and shareholders for final approval.
  • Manage commercial lease discussions and negotiations directly in Italy, with support from external legal consultants, and in European markets in collaboration with the in-house Legal department and local counsel.
  • Work closely with European Country Managers and Area Managers to align retail network development with operational needs.
  • Efficiently and fairly manage day-to-day tasks, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations within tight timelines.
  • Promote role-based learning through proactive, team-based, and cross-functional activities.
  • Promote and develop the use of negotiation and financial analysis skills in process management and in relationships with the internal and external stakeholders involved in the business.
  • Adopt meaningful behaviors and promote operational and cultural actions that support sustainable development, understood as interconnected practices focused on the environment, business processes, and the organizational community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, ability to read and analyze store profit-and-loss accounts, and understanding of commercial lease agreements.
  • Excellent English proficiency (minimum high B2). Knowledge of a second European language, French or German, is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, combined with high moral integrity, loyalty, discretion, and willingness to travel.

Experience

2–4 years of experience in real estate, property management, audit (e.g. Big Four), consulting, or retail network development in fashion/luxury, large-scale distribution, or direct retail.
