Production Planning Specialist organizes and schedules production activities and workflows at the Reggio Emilia manufacturing facility. Working collaboratively with Production Managers, the incumbent manages dynamic resource allocation, reassigning operators to critical production phases when priorities shift or unforeseen circumstances arise. The role demands proactive daily intervention to balance production lines, prevent bottlenecks, and maintain smooth, consistent workflow while ensuring full compliance with delivery schedules and quality standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate actively in defining production planning and work-cycle scheduling, balancing workloads, capacity, and priorities
- Analyze process times and data through corporate IT and ERP systems, measuring performance against qualitative and quantitative metrics
- Identify and promptly address deviations from the initial production plan, defining and implementing effective corrective actions
- Ensure precise, consistent, and structured information flow across internal departments
- Promote process innovation and plant efficiency proactively through digital initiatives, team activities, and introduction of industry best practices
Qualifications
- Three-year or five-year degree in STEM disciplines
- Analytical acumen and strong problem-solving capabilities
