Role & Responsibilities
- Support the collection coordinator in guaranteeing brand identity compliance and stylistic completeness across the collection
- Organize and prepare design support materials, including colour research, mood boards, tableaux, fabric cataloguing, and accessory organization
- Manage collection planning schedules and ensure strict adherence to project deadlines
- Collaborate with the coordinator and product manager in overseeing collection quality across product completeness, raw materials, colour palettes, and wearability
- Support the creative design phase by liaising with internal and external designers regarding material selection and model development
- Participate actively in prototype and sample definition, providing technical feedback and documentation
- Independently manage assigned collection projects or research initiatives within specified timeframes
- Coordinate with other design office assistants and departments (technical team, modellers, visual office, communications) to ensure seamless integration
- Conduct competitive product research and monitor emerging consumer trends to inform collection development
- Support graphic design activities and material research as required by the design coordinator
- Promote digital innovation and efficiency improvements within the design function
- Advocate for sustainable development practices and care-oriented methodologies in all design activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent academic qualification (Master's degree preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in similar roles (Design Office Assistant, Junior Product Developer, or Collection Coordinator Assistant) with luxury or contemporary brands
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Advanced technical drawing and digital rendering skills for ready-to-wear
- Strong knowledge of garment construction for womenswear ready-to-wear, including manufacturing processes, material properties, accessories, graphics, finishes, and embellishments
- Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for international collaboration and supplier management

1 to 2 years of proven experience in design support roles with luxury or contemporary fashion brands. Previous experience as a Design Office Assistant, Junior Product Developer, or Collection Coordinator Assistant is required. Demonstrated competency in womenswear ready-to-wear design and technical product development is essential.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent academic qualification; Master's degree is advantageous.
