As the final point of contact in the Max Mara flagship store on Rue du Four, this role embodies the Maison's values and aesthetic until the last moment of the boutique experience. The Checkout Host ensures seamless point-of-sale operations whilst delivering warm, professional hospitality aligned with the luxury fashion brand's codes and service standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute all checkout processes and guide clients through transaction completion in accordance with the brand's Excellence Selling Ceremony protocol
- Maintain point-of-sale accuracy and oversee accompanying administrative documentation
- Prioritize client needs through exceptional front-office service and concierge-level support
- Register clientele in compliance with GDPR requirements whilst building the quality of the customer database
- Address first-level client inquiries and complaints; escalate complex issues appropriately
- Embody Max Mara's brand ethos and aesthetic through impeccable personal presentation, grooming standards, and demeanor
- Serve as an ambassador for the brand's digital tools and platforms, promoting their adoption amongst clientele
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury retail or high-end fashion
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency with digital retail systems and point-of-sale technology
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and service orientation, particularly during peak trading periods
