Role & Responsibilities
- Manage bank account reconciliation, accounting entries, and statement verification
- Oversee petty cash operations at headquarters and Italian retail locations
- Execute monthly financial close procedures
- Plan and manage short-term financial cash flows
- Administer budget planning and periodic annual revisions
- Monitor currency exposure for exchange rate hedging and financial cost planning for headquarters and European entities
- Liaise with local and international financial institutions and external consultants
- Prepare and negotiate Letters of Credit and payment instruments
- Assess customer creditworthiness and manage credit risk insurance
- Monitor customer exposure, overdue balances, and enforce payment compliance through shipment controls
- Coordinate collection efforts, prepare formal demand letters, and manage legal proceedings
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in treasury and credit roles at modern, well-structured companies, preferably in the fashion sector
- Proficiency in English and one additional language
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP S4, Piteco, Board, Power BI, or equivalent financial systems
- Availability for occasional travel within Italy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving orientation and team collaboration capability
