Role & Responsibilities
- Manage bank account reconciliations and accounting entries, verifying statements and transactions
- Oversee petty cash operations for headquarters and Italian retail locations, including cash advances and reimbursements
- Supervise monthly actual closings and financial reconciliations
- Plan and manage short-term financial flows and cash forecasting
- Manage budget planning and coordinate annual periodic reviews
- Oversee currency balance management, foreign exchange hedging coverage, and financial burden planning for headquarters and European subsidiaries
- Interact with local and international financial institutions and external advisors
- Prepare and negotiate letters of credit and CAD documentation
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and manage credit risk insurance
- Monitor ongoing customer exposure and arrears, implementing shipment holds and releases as required
- Prepare written reminders and maintain constant communication with delinquent clients regarding payment plans and legal proceedings
- Coordinate continuously with commercial and customer service teams as well as external consultants and internal departments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in treasury or credit management roles within well-structured organizations, preferably in the fashion sector
- Strong command of English; knowledge of a second language is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA, Piteco, Board, Power BI, or comparable financial systems
- Willingness to travel within Italy as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving orientation and team collaboration mindset
