Marni seeks Senior Account Executive in New York to manage wholesale partnerships and drive sales growth across luxury retail accounts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Milan-based Showroom Team to schedule wholesale client appointments and coordinate virtual presentations; brief clients on budget expectations prior to market appointments
  • Review client orders post-appointment with Wholesale VP, provide recommendations, and ensure all modifications are communicated back to retail partners for final PO confirmation
  • Analyze weekly sell-through reports by style and door; identify underperforming categories and collaborate with buyers on solutions to optimize sales performance and inventory allocation
  • Travel to Milan with Wholesale VP at least twice annually to train on new collections and support larger client appointments
  • Conduct seasonal store visits to educate retail staff and associates on product features, visual merchandising guidelines, and brand positioning; prepare store visit materials and collection briefings
  • Manage sample loans for editorial opportunities and coordinate between Marni HQ and retail visual teams to ensure execution of visual needs at partner locations
  • Source and onboard new retail clients; maintain relationships with former clients; coordinate account setup with Customer Service and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain daily correspondence with major partners to identify stock opportunities and manage excess inventory risks

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of work and professional experience
  • 5+ years in a similar Sales Support or wholesale account management role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Demonstrated ability to read and analyze selling reports, sales data, and financial figures
  • Experience in luxury retail environments
  • Strong customer/client focus and communication proficiency
  • Excellent organizational skills and retail math proficiency
