The Retail Business Analyst joins Marni’s Retail Team to analyze store commercial and financial performance, using sales, inventory and margin data to inform commercial decisions, planning and profitability. The role supports reporting and performance analysis across stores and e-commerce and is offered under the CCNL Industria, with a gross annual salary of €35,000, flexible time, smart working and meal vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and consolidate data from stores, the e-commerce channel and internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze performance daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally by geographical area, country, channel and store, monitoring KPIs and variances against targets, budgets, forecasts and previous periods.
- Monitor sell-out, sell-through, stock exposure and product turnover; identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze directly operated stores’ performance in line with market segmentation and geographical specificities.
- Prepare and update regular reports, dashboards and presentations on business performance and key KPIs.
- Translate complex analyses into clear summaries and actionable recommendations for management and commercial teams.
- Contribute to developing and improving reporting tools and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the go-to resource for updates and report creation in Power BI.
Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis and retail reporting within the retail sector.
- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of key retail KPIs and the ability to analyze commercial and financial data, including sales, inventory, margins, costs and profit and loss statements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Excellent English.
