Marni seeks Global Retail Planner in Milano for strategic planning role covering Europe retail, outlet, and e-commerce operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage planning and forecasts: prepare and update sales, inventory and Open-to-Buy plans, consolidate regional inputs and highlight deviations against approved targets throughout the seasonal cycle
- Support seasonal buying: translate approved budgets into detailed buying and SKU plans with Buying and Merchandising, monitoring order commitments and investment mix
- Monitor in-season performance: analyse sales, sell-through, deliveries and stock coverage, identifying opportunities and risks and proposing reorders, replenishment and stock transfers
- Support markdown and Outlet planning: assess end-of-season stock, provide inputs for markdown decisions and calculate outlet purchasing requirements
- Contribute to budgets and business reviews: prepare planning inputs, variance analyses and simulations to support the Global Retail Director's strategic decisions
- Coordinate planning activities across teams: align deadlines, assumptions and inputs across Regions, Buying, Merchandising, Finance and channel teams
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or merchandise planning within fashion or luxury industry
- Solid understanding of Open-to-Buy, seasonal buying, forecasting and inventory management
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with planning systems
- Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving approach
- Fluent English with strong communication and organisational skills

Proven experience in retail or merchandise planning within fashion or luxury, with demonstrated proficiency in Open-to-Buy management, seasonal buying cycles, forecasting methodologies, and inventory control across multiple channels.
