Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the controlling and business performance agenda, ensuring strong financial governance and high-quality management reporting across all channels and regions
- Serve as a finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, evaluating profitability by channel and region, monitoring discount trends, markdown policies, and margin evolution
- Own the monthly financial reporting cycle, producing accurate P&L performance analysis, Net Sales reporting, and key profitability indicators with clear variance analysis against budget and forecasts
- Coordinate annual budget and in-year forecast processes, working with commercial, retail, and operations functions to define planning assumptions and develop scenario analyses
- Oversee industrial controlling and G&A monitoring, including production costs, COGS, inventory valuation, industrial overheads, and operating expenses
- Manage and develop two direct reports, setting annual objectives aligned with business priorities and supporting individual development
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, data flows, and analytical tools across SAP, BI platforms, Excel, and Power BI environments
- Support strategic initiatives such as store openings and closures, impairment testing, break-even analysis, and pricing strategy evaluations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 7 years of experience in Controlling or FP&A roles
- Demonstrated background in fashion, luxury, retail, or structured consumer goods environments
- Proven experience managing budget and forecast processes in multi-channel and multi-country organisations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Hands-on expertise with SAP and BI platforms (SAP BW, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
- Strong familiarity with retail KPIs including LFL sales, UPT, AVT, conversion rate, MDS%, and sell-through
- Fluent English language skills

Experience
7 years of experience in Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis roles, with demonstrated success in fashion, luxury, retail, or consumer goods environments. Proven expertise in managing complex budget and forecast processes within multi-channel and multi-country organisations, coupled with hands-on experience in financial reporting, cost control, and business partnership with commercial functions.
Education
Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 60,000 to EUR 65,000 per annum.
