Marchesi 1824, part of the Prada Group in Milan, seeks a Purchase Administration Intern. Join a creative, inclusive environment in the luxury food sector.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and update the item database, ensuring correct classification and coding.
  • Manage product-related information, including technical data and descriptions.
  • Process and enter purchase orders into the system.
  • Monitor order status and communicate with suppliers.
  • Manage changes or cancellations of orders.
  • Verify consistency between invoices and purchase orders.
  • Reconcile invoices with delivery documents.
  • Manage discrepancies and report errors.
  • Collect and analyze purchasing data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and potential issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports.
  • Support inventory management.
  • Assist in supplier contract negotiations.
  • Participate in special projects related to procurement process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of main IT tools, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in procurement or administration is a plus.

Experience

Previous experience in procurement or administration is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
