Marc Jacobs seeks a Store Manager in Serravalle Scrivia, Italy to lead the Serravalle Designer Outlet store and drive sales, clienteling and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the Serravalle Designer Outlet store team to deliver high standards of customer service and achieve sales and KPI targets.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent; build succession plans in collaboration with HR and provide tailored training and performance feedback.
- Drive client development and loyalty programs, championing clienteling to grow VIC and VVIC relationships and maximise repeat business.
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable store objectives; set ambitious targets and monitor store performance against the monthly P&L.
- Oversee daily store operations including point-of-sale procedures, cash handling, stock control, loss prevention and health & safety compliance.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, CRM and HQ teams to optimise product presentation, in-store events and category synergies.
- Represent the store locally and feed market intelligence, competitor activity and customer insights back to the country and HQ teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in luxury retail, with proven ability to run a store P&L.
- Demonstrable experience managing VIP client events and cultivating an international clientele network.
- Fluency in English and Italian (essential).
- Strong commercial acumen, fashion sensitivity and a passion for the Marc Jacobs brand.
- Proven capability in recruiting, developing and motivating retail teams.
Skills
Experience
Extensive luxury retail management experience with a minimum of five years in supervisory or store leadership roles; track record of driving sales, managing KPI targets and organising VIP events. Existing international client network and experience working with CRM-driven clienteling are highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, fashion, retail management or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
