Marc Jacobs seeks a Store Manager in Serravalle Designer Outlet, Italy to lead the boutique, drive sales and develop teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the boutique team to deliver consistently high standards of service, translating strategic objectives into individual targets and tailored development plans.
  • Recruit, retain and build succession plans in partnership with HR; organise team structure and delegate responsibilities to maximise productivity.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs by setting ambitious yet attainable targets, monitoring results and implementing corrective actions.
  • Champion clienteling and CRM-driven relationship building to grow VIC/VVIC relationships, increase client retention and activate high-value events and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement local business strategies, identify growth opportunities across product categories and mobilise visual merchandising, events and training support.
  • Manage store operations including monthly P&L review, controllable expense monitoring, stock audits, loss prevention and compliance with HQ operational procedures.
  • Ensure health & safety, asset protection and cash/stock control procedures are understood and applied across the team.
  • Represent the store internally to country and HQ teams, sharing best practices and acting as the local ambassador of brand values and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' management experience in luxury retail with proven store leadership and P&L accountability.
  • Established international clientele network and demonstrable experience organising VIP client events.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (essential).
  • Exceptional communication, relationship‑building and coaching skills with a strong client-centric orientation.
  • Keen commercial instinct, creativity in sales activation and strong awareness of fashion trends and culture.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Luxury Retail, Fashion or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail accepted.
