Marc Jacobs seeks a Store Manager in Bicester Village, London to lead the boutique, drive sales and develop VIP client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Bicester Village store team through continuous coaching, performance management and tailored development plans.
  • Recruit, retain and develop talent; build succession plans in collaboration with HR and ensure the team is organised to meet business needs.
  • Define and monitor ambitious store targets and KPIs; translate strategic objectives into individual actions and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive client acquisition, retention and engagement—with particular emphasis on VIC and VVIC segments—leveraging CRM and clienteling tools.
  • Plan and execute VIP client events and initiatives to cultivate long-term relationships and maximise lifetime value.
  • Own day-to-day store operations including P&L oversight, controllable expense management and cash-handling governance.
  • Ensure stock integrity through audits, shrinkage control and loss-prevention procedures; partner with Store Support on health & safety.
  • Optimise merchandising and category performance by collaborating with visual merchandising, training and CRM teams.
  • Represent the store to HQ and local stakeholders; communicate strategic priorities and ensure adherence to brand standards and HQ guidelines.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity; propose local actions and recommendations to enhance store performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of retail management experience within the luxury goods sector, with responsibility for a boutique or multi-staff store.
  • Established international clientele network and demonstrable experience managing VIP or private client events.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store P&L.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (both essential); additional languages advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen, fashion sensitivity and a passion for the Marc Jacobs brand and its collections.
