Marc Jacobs seeks a Store Manager in Bicester Village, London to lead the boutique, drive sales and develop VIP client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the Bicester Village store team through continuous coaching, performance management and tailored development plans.
- Recruit, retain and develop talent; build succession plans in collaboration with HR and ensure the team is organised to meet business needs.
- Define and monitor ambitious store targets and KPIs; translate strategic objectives into individual actions and measurable outcomes.
- Drive client acquisition, retention and engagement—with particular emphasis on VIC and VVIC segments—leveraging CRM and clienteling tools.
- Plan and execute VIP client events and initiatives to cultivate long-term relationships and maximise lifetime value.
- Own day-to-day store operations including P&L oversight, controllable expense management and cash-handling governance.
- Ensure stock integrity through audits, shrinkage control and loss-prevention procedures; partner with Store Support on health & safety.
- Optimise merchandising and category performance by collaborating with visual merchandising, training and CRM teams.
- Represent the store to HQ and local stakeholders; communicate strategic priorities and ensure adherence to brand standards and HQ guidelines.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity; propose local actions and recommendations to enhance store performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of retail management experience within the luxury goods sector, with responsibility for a boutique or multi-staff store.
- Established international clientele network and demonstrable experience managing VIP or private client events.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store P&L.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
- Fluency in English and Italian (both essential); additional languages advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen, fashion sensitivity and a passion for the Marc Jacobs brand and its collections.

Minimum three years' management experience in luxury retail with proven success leading teams, driving sales and managing VIP clientele and events.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail.
