Role & Responsibilities
- Provide continuous coaching and tailored development plans to the store team, identifying training needs and fostering skill advancement
- Recruit, evaluate, motivate, and develop store personnel; collaborate with HR to establish succession planning frameworks
- Organise the team structure efficiently to align with business requirements and delegate responsibility effectively
- Translate strategic and business objectives into concrete individual actions and performance targets
- Set ambitious yet attainable store sales and KPI targets; monitor performance diligently to ensure achievement
- Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere that welcomes creativity and empowers team members
- Network with Marc Jacobs and LVMH colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Communicate HQ strategic vision, initiatives, and LVMH values consistently throughout the team
- Serve as a Marc Jacobs brand ambassador, sustaining and promoting the brand culture internally and externally
- Champion a client-centric and service-focused mindset throughout the store
- Build and leverage a loyal clientele through comprehensive clienteling strategies and CRM tools, with particular focus on VIC and VVIC segments
- Maximise the potential of all product categories through visual merchandising, staff training, events, and cross-category synergies
- Understand the local market landscape and competitive environment to propose strategic actions and recommendations
- Attract and recruit new clients through personal networks and external partnerships
- Ensure strict adherence to policies, operational standards, and procedures whilst proposing improvements where applicable
- Monitor store controllable expenses and collaborate with Finance on monthly P&L review and corrective actions
- Oversee health and safety management, asset protection, and risk management protocols
- Implement stock audits and control stock loss within boutique budget parameters
- Ensure the team is fully trained on point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of extensive management experience in the luxury retail sector
- Demonstrated experience managing VIP client events and high-net-worth clientele
- Existing international clientele network
- Fluency in English and Italian (essential)
