Marc Jacobs seeks a Stock Controller in Paris to manage store inventory, CITES compliance and support retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain an organised, secure and efficient stockroom to maximise sales availability and preserve product quality.
- Manage inbound and outbound stock processes including receiving, tagging, replenishment and stock transfers in line with store procedures.
- Execute regular stock counts, reconciliations and cycle counts; investigate and report discrepancies to minimise stock loss.
- Complete CITES documentation and ensure compliance for exotic/leather products.
- Support sales team with rapid product retrieval, visual merchandising updates and stock placement for sales floor presentation.
- Capture and maintain accurate CRM details and assist store team with clienteling activities as required.
- Monitor and order back-office supplies and stationery to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador: uphold brand presentation standards, assist in delivering exceptional client journeys and model expected behaviours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in retail stock control, inventory or sales operations within a fashion environment; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Secondary education to A Levels (or equivalent) or higher.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with sales teams and external partners.
- Reliable, proactive and detail-oriented with a demonstrated passion for stock management and loss prevention.

Experience
Minimum 3 years' progressive experience in sales, stock control or inventory management in a fashion retail setting; prior exposure to luxury product handling and retail operations preferred.
Education
A Levels or equivalent secondary education; further vocational training in retail or logistics is advantageous.
