Marc Jacobs seeks a Stock Controller in Paris, France — on-site role overseeing inventory, stockroom operations and CITES compliance for the retail store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate an efficient, immaculately presented stockroom to ensure product quality and rapid replenishment of the sales floor.
- Manage inventory control processes including receiving, labelling, stock rotation, regular stock counts and discrepancy investigations to minimise loss.
- Support sales teams by preparing merchandise, organising visual merchandising transfers and ensuring adherence to brand VM guidelines.
- Process and monitor CITES documentation for all exotic/leather products to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Capture and update client CRM data, assist in clienteling activities and support the sales team to maximise profitable sales.
- Monitor and reorder stationary and back-office supplies to ensure uninterrupted store operations.
- Act as a brand ambassador: model brand standards, maintain professional appearance and promote brand DNA to colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
- A-levels or equivalent; further retail or logistics-training is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales and stock control within a fashion environment, preferably luxury.
- Demonstrable experience with inventory processes, stock-taking and discrepancy resolution.
- Knowledge of CITES procedures or experience handling regulated/exotic-product documentation.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales and management teams.

Education
A-levels (or equivalent secondary diploma); relevant retail or logistics coursework preferred.
