Marc Jacobs Sales Ambassador (Part-time, 32 hours) in Roermond, Netherlands. Build client relationships, drive sales, and manage luxury retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Embody and promote the Marc Jacobs brand image, instilling passion and pride for the label among customers and store team members
  • Welcome and educate clients about the brand, ensuring a comfortable and informed shopping environment
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships and develop a personal client book via CRM systems
  • Identify and present complementary products to clients, leveraging comprehensive product knowledge to drive sales and achieve targets
  • Process sales transactions in a confident and professional manner
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation guidelines that reflect the brand image
  • Oversee stockroom operations and ensure all products are properly boxed, labelled, and stored to maintain luxury quality standards
  • Conduct regular stock rotation and bi-annual inventory counts to minimize stock loss and discrepancies
  • Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring accuracy against invoices and inspecting for damage
  • Maintain sufficient product availability on the shop floor through proactive replenishment and internal stock transfers
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies by double-checking inventory records and identifying missing products
  • Complete weekly inventory reports with detailed comments explaining any variances
  • Ensure CITES documentation is completed for all exotic products in compliance with regulations
  • Monitor stationery stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages
  • Maintain awareness of product aftercare, leather care, and handling best practices to prevent stock loss
  • Stay current with fashion trends and product lines to deliver informed recommendations
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and brand dress codes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in sales and stock control within a fashion environment, preferably luxury
  • Demonstrable experience selling ready-to-wear and leather goods
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and business monitoring
  • Excellent personal presentation aligned with Marc Jacobs brand standards
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and retail management tools
