Make Up For Ever VMD Specialist in Seoul, South Korea — visual merchandising and POSM design for retail channels.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute display guidelines for retail launches; communicate launching plans and strategies with headquarters and regional teams
  • Forecast and manage POSM (Point-of-Sale Material) and visual assets; oversee planogram integrity and point-of-sale quality
  • Design and coordinate local POSM production with vendor partners; prepare display guides for retail and specialty channels
  • Manage quotation and cost control for soft merchandising operations; maintain monthly POSM stock inventory and forecasting
  • Coordinate soft merchandising setup and installation for store renewals and openings across all brick-and-mortar channels
  • Prepare visual merchandising and soft interior elements for new and renovated points of sale; develop localized VMD concepts aligned with regional sales and marketing strategies
  • Liaise with local vendors and store staff to execute store openings, closings, and renovations; support event and pop-up store launches with creative teams
  • Conduct regular market visits and audits to maintain premium merchandising standards; collect store photography for campaign documentation and updates
  • Monitor and report actual soft merchandising costs against budget; manage and control the overall soft merchandising budget

Qualifications

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or Interior Design
  • Minimum 3–4 years of visual merchandising or VMD experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required)
  • Strong understanding of hard merchandising principles and technical drawing
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and drive to learn and develop professionally

Education

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or Interior Design, or equivalent professional qualification in visual merchandising or retail design.
