Make Up For Ever in Levallois-Perret seeks a Supply Planning Manager to lead upstream supply planning and supplier management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the upstream supply chain planning for packaging components and bulk production, building and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (PDP) and long-term supply plan (PALT).
  • Ensure on-time availability of components and finished goods by reconciling sales forecasts, supplier constraints (MOQ, lead times) and production capacities to minimize stock and cost exposure.
  • Manage strategic subcontractors directly: place orders, perform daily follow-up and coordinate production and packaging flows.
  • Monitor and challenge internal stakeholders and external partners on delivery dates, driving improvements in timing and OTIF performance.
  • Maintain and update load/capacity planning to integrate launches and production feasibility constraints.
  • Analyse stock equations, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective action plans (discontinuations, MOQ revisions, expiry management).
  • Define and deploy supplier governance (processes, KPIs) and lead flexibility projects to reduce lead times, in close collaboration with Purchasing.
  • Lead inventory controls and destruction processes at subcontractors in accordance with Finance strategy and regulatory requirements (including AGEC).
  • Ensure correct MRP parameterisation and contribute to purchasing policy, budgeting and logistics specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across organisation, tools and processes to support growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or Master’s level education (Bac+5) or equivalent university qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a planner, scheduler or supply/production buyer, ideally within cosmetics or FMCG/agro-food.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience leading planners and/or flow coordinators.
  • Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
  • Proven mastery of planning and procurement methods in complex distribution environments (large SKU counts, multi-modal distribution).
  • Strong analytical mindset, results orientation and demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and process documentation.

Experience
