MAKE UP FOR EVER in Gennevilliers seeks a Supply Planning & Production Manager to lead supply planning, production scheduling and supplier management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Master Production Schedule (PDP) and the long-term supply plan (PALT) to guarantee component and finished-goods availability for markets at optimal cost and quality.
  • Plan upstream supply for packaging and bulk production, and coordinate production scheduling and subcontractor activities to meet market delivery dates.
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, including order placement, daily follow-up and supplier performance improvement projects.
  • Operate and parameterize the MRP system to ensure reliable availability dates and accurate material planning.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (OTIF, plan attainment, inventory levels) and deploy corrective action plans when targets are not met.
  • Lead stock equation analyses, depreciation management (MOQ revisions, discontinuations, expiry management), inventories and destruction processes in line with finance and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in planning and procurement, propose and implement mitigation and optimisation actions, including SKU portfolio rationalisation.
  • Champion continuous improvement of planning processes, tools and organisation to support Maison growth and operational agility.
  • Coordinate cross-functional interfaces with Purchases, Launches, Quality, Cost Control, Demand & Distribution Planning, Transport, Customer Service and Data Management.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree / Engineering degree (Bac +5) or equivalent university qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, production scheduling, or supply planning; experience in cosmetics or FMCG/food manufacturing preferred.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management experience.
  • Strong analytical rigour, organisation and ability to prioritise in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
  • Proven orientation to results and continuous improvement mindset.

Experience

Minimum 5 years in supply chain planning, procurement or production scheduling roles, with at least 2 years of direct team management; experience within cosmetics or highly regulated FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.

Master's degree or engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
