Make Up For Ever seeks Senior FP&A Manager & Central Costs in Levallois-Perret, France. Fixed-term contract, hybrid role overseeing financial planning for 20 markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive sales and results syntheses across multiple analytical dimensions (countries, regions, points of sale, distribution channels, product lines)
- Analyze performance variances, alert on budget overages, and support subsidiaries in achieving objectives
- Conduct monthly business reviews with all 20 markets organized across four geographic zones (Asia, Middle East, Americas, Europe)
- Manage the budget cycle, including budgets, re-forecasting, and strategic plans; challenge market submissions and validate key assumptions
- Oversee central overhead expenditures at the Paris headquarters and Academy; coordinate with operational departments on spending updates and forecasts
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports tracking key performance indicators (sell-out, sell-in, margin, opex, currency effects)
- Analyze product performance and marketing spend by product line
- Conduct quarterly revenue re-forecasting at market level and consolidate product-line forecasts
- Lead two permanent staff members and supervise an intern; establish and monitor financial management rules and procedures across subsidiaries
- Develop and present financial benchmarks, ad-hoc analysis (P&L by channel, e-commerce, cost structure) and executive presentations
- Drive financial control improvements and cost optimization initiatives; cultivate a stronger financial culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree from a business school or equivalent university qualification with specialization in finance, accounting, or business management
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience
- Previous experience as a Country, Regional, or Business Unit Controller
- Strong accounting and financial knowledge
- Expert-level proficiency with reporting tools (Magnitude-BO FC, Power BI)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, databases, macros)
- Mastery of income statements and key performance indicators
- Professional fluency in French and English (oral and written)
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to propose solutions with rigor and precision
- Excellent organizational skills and priority management under time constraints and complex scope
- Agile, assertive, and empathetic management style
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences

5–7 years of professional experience in finance and accounting, including prior experience as a Country, Regional, or Business Unit Controller.
Education
Master's degree from a business school or equivalent university qualification with specialization in finance, accounting, or business management.
