Make Up For Ever seeks Sales & Education Executive in New York—lead retail teams, drive beauty education, and manage Sephora partnerships. $85–90K + bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute innovative sales strategies across assigned regions to achieve targets and drive revenue growth
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Sephora Beauty Advisors and retail partners to ensure comprehensive product representation
- Deliver captivating product demonstrations and consultations to customers and retail staff
- Manage, lead, and develop Make Up For Ever Market Specialists and Selling Specialists to optimize retail sales performance
- Oversee gondola inventory management and visual merchandising, addressing any issues proactively
- Partner with the Regional Manager to strategically plan high-impact store visits during peak business hours
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge and training to Market Specialists, Selling Specialists, Sephora Beauty Advisors, and retail staff
- Create and develop compelling training materials, presentations, and resources supporting educational initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, techniques, and product launches to maintain current expertise
- Conduct client visits delivering exceptional service and identifying growth opportunities
- Collaborate with the Education team to develop sales and promotional materials
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences using available business data
- Conduct interviews, hire, coach, and manage the performance and travel logistics of regional team members
- Maintain in-store bookings and scheduling compliance via Sephora's Happening Now system
- Build quarterly calendars in Outlook and ensure team alignment with Sephora scheduling guidelines
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of proven experience in field sales, retail management, education, and leadership roles
- Sephora and cosmetics industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and current trends
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit and teach basic makeup artistry skills
- Proven track record building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Charismatic communicator with strong negotiation abilities
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Physically capable of carrying boxes of reasonable weight in a fragrance-filled, cosmetic environment
- Eligible to obtain a corporate credit card
- Availability to work key business hours including weekends and holidays

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in field sales, retail management, education, and leadership roles, with Sephora and cosmetics background preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in makeup techniques, strong communication abilities, and a proven capacity to develop and mentor retail teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional beauty or business education a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to USD 90,000 per annum.
