MAKE UP FOR EVER in Los Angeles seeks a Sales & Education Executive to drive retail sales, manage teams, and provide makeup training at Sephora locations. $85K–$95K annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies in the assigned region to achieve targets and drive revenue growth
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Sephora Beauty Advisors and retail partners to ensure makeup needs are consistently met
  • Perform engaging product demonstrations and consultations to drive customer excitement and sales conversion
  • Manage, lead, and develop Make Up For Ever Market Specialists and Selling Specialist teams to maximize retail performance
  • Oversee gondola inventory and visual merchandising, resolving issues proactively to maintain brand standards
  • Partner with the Regional Manager to plan and execute store visits during peak business hours
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge training to Market Specialists, Selling Specialists, Sephora Beauty Advisors, and retail staff
  • Create and develop compelling training materials, presentations, and resources to support educational initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends, techniques, and product launches to maintain competitive positioning
  • Conduct client visits and deliver exceptional service to uncover growth opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, business data, and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Build quarterly calendars and maintain in-store bookings via Sephora's Happening Now system
  • Conduct interviews, hire, coach, and manage the performance of team members in the region
  • Provide recommendations for improvement and contribute to organizational growth

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years proven experience in field sales, retail management, education, and leadership (Sephora and cosmetics experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and industry trends
  • Must exhibit basic makeup artistry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Charming, persuasive communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
  • Eligible to obtain a corporate credit card
  • Physically capable of carrying boxes of reasonable weight and working in a fragrance-filled, cosmetic environment
