Make Up For Ever in Levallois-Perret seeks a Production Project Buyer (CDI) — mid-level procurement role in packaging and subcontracting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Join the Operations – Purchasing team, contributing to Purchasing Production for all new product launches and catalogue management.
- Define supplier and subcontractor panels for formulation development, packaging and logistics in line with project specifications.
- Set target prices and project KPIs with cross‑functional project teams; organise and run RFPs to select vendors.
- Negotiate and contract with suppliers on cost, capacity, quality and lead times; ensure commercial terms protect business interests.
- Drive product launches to meet cost, quality and timing objectives.
- Develop a three‑year purchasing strategy for assigned categories aligned with LVMH purchasing frameworks.
- Proactively identify and analyse business needs; support dispute resolution and streamline administrative purchasing processes.
- Monitor and animate supplier performance improvement initiatives covering quality, logistics, cost and innovation; lead value‑analysis exercises.
- Propose and implement supplier initiatives in support of Make Up For Ever’s RSE/CSR commitments.
- Contribute to the deployment of methodologies and tools that secure the business and supplier base.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent with a specialization in purchasing.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in packaging procurement and/or subcontracting purchasing, ideally within cosmetics or FMCG.
- Professional fluency in French and English (oral and written).
- Proven project‑management and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity and a dynamic, proactive attitude.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, with demonstrable experience in packaging and/or subcontracting procurement; experience in cosmetics or consumer packaged goods strongly preferred.
Education
Master’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent with a specialization in purchasing.
