Make Up For Ever seeks a Makeup and Sales Specialist in Nice, France — temporary full-time on-site role at Sephora Nice selling and training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging, professional and personalised client experience: needs analysis, active listening, makeup applications and expert tips to build loyalty.
- Advise and sell Make Up For Ever products on the Sephora floor, maintaining strong product knowledge and upselling where appropriate.
- Plan and animate masterclasses and in-store activations to drive trial and brand awareness.
- Maintain a well-presented, hygienic and compliant retail environment.
- Contribute to team and brand sales targets and execute actions to achieve objectives set by the Area Manager.
- Provide monthly quantitative and qualitative reporting to managers.
- Develop the commercial partnership with Sephora by respecting their procedures, co-designing exclusive activations with store leadership and fostering a professional, trust-based relationship with store teams.
- Deliver on-floor training to Sephora colour teams year‑round, particularly during product launches, and share makeup techniques to increase Make Up For Ever’s sell-through.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in cosmetics retail or professional makeup sales, ideally within selective retail (Sephora experience a strong advantage).
- Professional makeup expertise is essential; demonstrable portfolio or practical assessment likely required.
- Diploma in aesthetics, cosmetology or business; qualification from a makeup school is a plus.
- Proven sales ability and track record of meeting targets in a retail environment.
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills for masterclasses and training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, commercial mindset and the ability to negotiate and propose creative retail activations.
