Make Up For Ever seeks a Makeup and Sales Expert in Levallois-Perret (Sephora Champs-Élysées) — join the team to lead masterclasses and retail activations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently warm, professional and personalised client experience: assess needs, perform makeup applications, share techniques and build client loyalty.
- Proactively welcome customers, advise and sell MAKE UP FOR EVER products on the sales floor, meeting individual and store sales objectives.
- Design, present and animate masterclasses and in-store demonstrations to engage clients and drive product adoption.
- Maintain merchandising standards and hygiene: replenish testers, organise gondolas and ensure compliance with visual and store guidelines.
- Contribute to team performance by working to sales targets and implementing commercial plans defined with the sector manager.
- Produce monthly quantitative and qualitative reporting for managers in line with brand briefs and guidelines.
- Develop and strengthen the commercial partnership with Sephora: propose, negotiate and execute exclusive in-store activations in collaboration with Sephora management.
- Respect the retailer’s internal procedures and training materials, and cultivate a professional relationship with makeup leads and store directors.
- Deliver on-floor training to Sephora colour teams during launches and throughout the year; participate in and animate regional trainings organised by the retailer.
Qualifications
- Diploma in aesthetics/cosmetology or commerce; graduation from a professional makeup school is a strong plus.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cosmetics retail sales, preferably within selective retail or department store environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in makeup application and techniques with the ability to teach and present to groups.
- Proven sales record, strong commercial sense and capacity to negotiate and implement in-store activations.
- Confident public speaker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with retail partners.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cosmetics sales, with demonstrable experience in selective retail environments and working alongside multi-brand retailers such as Sephora.
Education
Diploma in aesthetics/cosmetology or commerce; professional makeup school diploma is advantageous.
