Make Up For Ever seeks a Makeup & Sales Expert in Barcelona (temporary, on-site). Full-time, customer-facing role requiring makeup training and English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert product advice and professional makeup application to customers, translating technical knowledge into commercial recommendations.
- Drive sales and consistently achieve individual and store targets through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain brand image and visual standards in accordance with Marketing guidelines: shelving, merchandising, point-of-sale and personal presentation.
- Increase brand awareness and customer loyalty through clienteling, in-store activations and product demonstrations.
- Develop and propose promotional and experiential activities that communicate Make Up For Ever’s brand DNA and enhance the customer experience.
- Cultivate and sustain a constructive working relationship with store management and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or formal training in makeup, cosmetology, or equivalent professional education.
- Minimum 3 years' retail experience in beauty or cosmetics (customer-facing roles).
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and strong commercial orientation.
- Creative and artistic sensibility with demonstrable makeup skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English (verbal communication) is required.
- Availability to work full-time, starting in July, on an on-site temporary contract.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of customer-facing retail experience in the beauty sector, with demonstrated success in makeup application, client advice and achieving sales objectives.
Education
Diploma, certificate or professional training in Makeup, Cosmetology, or Beauty Therapy; equivalent professional experience accepted.
