MAKE UP FOR EVER seeks PR & Influencer Relations Intern in New York. Monitor influencer coverage, coordinate product mailings, support media relations. $19–$21/hr, hybrid.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and tag influencer coverage using Tribe Dynamics, alerting the team to significant placements in real time
- Conduct daily searches to identify brand placements and contribute to monthly PR reports
- Coordinate large-scale product mailings to social media influencers, professional makeup artists, and traditional media editors
- Execute timely and accurate daily product shipments to influencers, pro artists, and editorial contacts
- Update and maintain PR media lists and influencer databases on an ongoing basis
- Organize and maintain the PR closet and materials when in office
- Monitor social media for relevant industry and competitor news, including press trips, mailings, and collaborations
- Assist with special PR initiatives, including research and event logistics
- Support professional artist relations through research, product distribution, and list management
- Develop cross-functional communication skills through collaboration with internal teams
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree as a rising Junior or Senior
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and professional with a demonstrated passion for the beauty industry
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- U.S. work authorization required
- Previous beauty industry experience is advantageous

Beginner-level. This is an internship role aimed at current university students. Previous beauty industry experience is preferred but not required.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree; rising Junior or Senior at the time of application.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19 to USD 21 per hour.
