Make Up For Ever Finance Intern, Travel Retail position in Singapore. Full-time internship supporting business analysis and reporting for Asia Pacific region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist controlling team with month-end closing tasks including monthly reporting to headquarters, regional, and local management
- Analyze variances between actual P&L and prior-year actuals versus budget
- Prepare monthly management meeting materials for brand leadership
- Support business analysis activities including retail sales and net sales reporting
- Generate ad hoc local reports under the supervision of the business controller
- Assist with budget template preparation and consolidation of inputs from market and functional stakeholders
- Support system uploads and preparation of submission packages to headquarters
- Review and update controlling procedures as needed
- Streamline reporting processes and organize data access protocols
- Execute ad hoc analysis and project follow-up activities
Qualifications
- Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month internship period (January–June 2027)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup, and beauty products
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of confidentiality
Skills
Experience
Beginner; no prior professional experience required. Strong desire to learn and willingness to develop expertise in beauty industry business operations.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline; or equivalent academic background in quantitative fields.
